The fruit for this marvellous wine was carefully picked and fermented on skins in open as well as closed fermenters for approximately three weeks, followed by pressing and malolactic fermentation. The elegant Shiraz wine obtained displays a dark violet hue, with red tinges around the edges. Pleasing aromas of dark berry fruit and lifted spice flow off the nose, with undertones of pepper and subtle oak complementing them. The silky and supple palate is structured and concentrated, brimming with dark fruit flavours that end in a satisfactory climax. This elegant red matches perfectly with heavy meat dishes and spicy Asian cuisine.
