The striking Durbanville Hills cellar sits atop a series of rolling hills with magnificent views of Table Mountain and Table Bay: the Durbanville ward is officially considered one of the Cape’s two coolest wine regions. Grapes from each vineyard are individually vinified. Fermented in steel and left on the lees for six months, 75% is unoaked, the balance is matured in new French 300 litre oak barrels. Dried peach, apricot, citrus and vanilla notes on the nose, with hints of butterscotch and toffee that carry on through the palate.
